AJE Suspension is a family-owned American performance brand built on decades of engineering experience, innovation, and a passion for doing things the right way.

Founded in 1990 by Anthony Jones, AJE combines real-world engineering expertise with hands-on racing experience to deliver high-quality suspension and chassis components trusted by enthusiasts nationwide.

Our Story

Anthony Jones began his career in 1971 at Cummins Engine Company, starting on the head assembly line before moving to engine assembly. In 1972, he advanced into the Engineering Department, where he spent nearly 30 years developing and refining engine systems.

Engineering Highlights

• 1978 – Worked on cylinder heads for the B-series engine, used in Dodge pickups, Case International tractors, and many industrial applications
• 1985 – Part of the design team that installed the B-series engine into Dodge pickups
• 1995 – Moved into Customer Engineering, handling automotive engine installations from pickups to Class 8 trucks
• 2001 – Retired after a distinguished engineering career

The Birth of AJE

While still working at Cummins, Anthony turned his passion for racing and fabrication into a business. In 1990, AJE was born.

What started with wheelie bars quickly expanded into access doors, tube chassis fabrication, and suspension components designed for real performance.

After building a 1990 Mustang Super Gas tube chassis car, AJE introduced its tube chassis struts, marking the beginning of a growing product line.

Innovation & Recognition

In October 1993, AJE received an SN95 Mustang from Ford and built another Super Gas tube chassis car. That car was featured in numerous magazines and earned a Best Engineered Award, helping establish AJE’s reputation for quality, innovation, and performance.

AJE continued to expand with products such as:

• Window net kits
• 1998 – 2" dropped spindle strut assemblies for Mustangs
• 1999 – The introduction of the Y2K-Member, a fresh k-member design built for strength, fitment, and performance
